Sewing Machine Operator

Position Description

• Read and follow instructions on production tickets 
• Work with light, medium and heavy weight fabric and leather.
• Sew topstitch and welt.
• Ability to work with industrial sewing machines, serging + zipper + topstitch (double needle) machines.

Work Hours

Monday to Friday 7am to 3:30 or 7:30am to 4pm

Qualification/Skills

• Team player and must work well in a factory environment attention to detail + ability to think through job at hand 
• Ability to work with cutter and upholsterer
• Appreciation for high quality workmanship
• Ability to work with all different types of fabrics, heavy and leather. Must keep area clean and tidy and attention to health and safety is priority
• Flexibility in be able to take new suggestions and able to work in constantly changing needs
